Skooler

Skooler is a software company launched in Moss, Norway in 2014 –  with offices in London and Seattle. Skooler will help you smartly integrate technology into the teaching and learning environment, modernizing processes, daily tasks and collaborate school-wide and in the classroom. Skooler makes your school day easier by offering a fully integrated solution, consisting of our own custom-made tools together with Office 365 from Microsoft and external third-party tools that schools wish to use.

What kind of data do we collect?

Skooler collects dat a from you through our communication with you and your use of our website. Some of these data you have provided us directly through forms, and other information is collected through interactions you have with our website. We also collect information about you from third parties, such as social media or other public sources. When downloading content or form registration, you agree to collection of data.

We collect:

• Personal information such as name, address, e-mail

• Title and workplace

• IP address and geographical information

• Information relating to the use of website and services

• Communication through e-mail or instant messaging

• Other information from forms

We do not collect sensitive personal data through use of online services.

We store your data related to website and contact information in our customer management system (CRM). This database is located in the United States and our software provider is Privacy Shield Certified.

How do we secure personal data?

We have industry standard encryption of our data in CRM. In addition, our data processor will strengthen its systems and infrastructure with new authentications and large-scale audits to ensure further data protection.

How long do we keep data?

We keep data about you as long as you desire and show interest in the content we produce or send you. If this is no longer the case we will delete the data temporarily, until you either want the data completely removed or engage back into our content.

Your rights to data processing

You will have access to personal information and data we have collected on you. If you wish to correct or delete data, please contact support@dev.skooler.com. If you receive an email from us you can reserve yourself against this by terminating your subscription “ here”.

If you are a customer you will only be able to reserve yourself for data relating to the use of the website and newsletter, not directly related to product news or alerts. If you wish to reserve yourself against the use of advertising in social media channels, this must be done in settings on the platform you do not want to see ads.
